As a native of Champaign, Illinois, I never grew up thinking, "Man, I can't wait to live in Iowa!"  But, after 17 years in Iowa City, I have to admit that it is a wonderful place to live, work, and raise a family.  My wife Kim and I both graduated from Southern Illinois University, in Carbondale, IL.  Kim works as a Physician Assistant at UIHC.  We have four children, Olivia (12), Jack (10), Camille (8), and Peter (5).  All except the youngest attend Hoover Elementary in Iowa City. I've been at City High School since 2007 and have loved every day of it!  I couldn't ask for a better place to work and am looking forward to another great year!
